Merry Christmas

I would like to take a moment at this time of year to thank my staff and our citizens for your support. I am truly honored to be your Sheriff.

It is my hope that as we enjoy another Christmas, each of you are grateful for the blessings we have. I realize not all of us have had the same kind of year and while hardship and tragedy has hit some families, let us not forget, we live in the greatest nation in the world.  I am proud to be an American and am so blessed to be able to live in this great country.

I would like to thank the citizens of this county and the Pratt County Commissioners for your support of this office.

I extend special thanks to my staff and their families for your dedication, hard work, and sacrifice. Law enforcement takes a heavy toll on those who work in that field.  They are called to do and see things that a person should not have to see.  It also takes a toll on the families as they wait for their loved to return from their shift, a lot of family time is missed.  As gifts are opened all over America, officers are patrolling the streets, highways, and back roads, looking for those who intend harm to the innocent.

Also at this time of year, let’s not forget members of our military and the sacrifice they make, often times the ultimate sacrifice, that we can live in a free country. While we celebrate with our families, many of our service families are apart, praying they will be together once again.  I salute all of our military men and women, those who do serve and those who have.

I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and may the New Year be full of happiness and continued blessings!
